Who am I is often hard to nail down. Inequity bugs me. I do more thinking than acting, which is probably good. Something about being slow to speak and slow to act or react I consider as good traits.

IRAQ THE MODEL

IRAQ THE MODEL We won't know for years if it was the right decision or not. From the history of how Saddam treated his people I would have to say it was right. He is comparable to Pol Pot who massacured half of the population of his own country, of Cambodia. Civil war in Iraq may go on for years, which we may have no control over, but we have to believe that the country is better off than it was three years ago.
If we are there only for selfish reasons, that will come to light and we will have to pay the consequences. I pray that is not the case.

Hey Dad! Good post. We're all puzzled and alarmed by what's happening in Iraq. Our confusion is compounded by the difficulty of really knowing what's happening there due to the difficulty of getting "the whole story" from there.

You might want to consider turning off comment moderation since it will mean every message will have to be approved by you before it can be posted. You can still trashcan comments that you don't want on there.
